TIGO TS4-A-O optimiser

The TIGO TS4-A-O optimiser optimises the performance of each photovoltaic module up to 700Wp, improving the performance of the PV chain in case of shading or module mismatch. The Tigo TS4 Optimiser is designed to be mounted individually on selected or all PV panels in a system. It performs the function of improving the performance of the PV system and helps to monitor the PV panels in detail. It contributes to a higher level of photovoltaic safety.

Optimization, safety and monitoring of each photovoltaic system

The Tigo system includes an advanced safety function called PV-Disconnect. This allows the chain to be disconnected at module level. This is the safest way to deactivate a photovoltaic system. When PV-Disconnect mode is active, the Tigo system disconnects the PV module from the chain, leaving it with zero power output. This can be used in an emergency or scheduled maintenance situation. Triggered both manually and automatically. No communication is required for the Tigo TS4 optimiser to function properly. Modules with and without a power optimiser can be connected in a chain – thanks to PIV technology, the optimiser will select the impedance of the circuit. However, in order to be able to shut down the system in an emergency (e.g. during a fire) and to monitor the system, communication devices are required.
