The ista-energy MD-RSX anemometer is a measuring device for determining wind speed and direction, equipped with an RS-485 interface and Modbus RTU protocol. The sensor features an IP65 protection rating enclosure and works directly with SIRO and WindSter controllers.
The ista-energy MD-RSX wind speed and direction sensor is designed for applications in building automation, weather stations, and wind turbine control systems. The design is based on a cup rotor with ball bearings, and the enclosure is made of UV-resistant ABS plastic. The device provides precise readings in the speed range of 0.3 m/s to 40 m/s and records wind direction in the full 360° range without a dead zone.
